Transitional Living > The Program

The primary mission of the Transitional Living Program is to provide young adults with a nurturing, supportive, and challenging environment necessary to make the transition to self-sufficiency. Our program also provides a comfortable, yet secure, setting which allows residents to take advantage of the many community resources that are available to meet their social, recreational, and educational needs.

The Transitional Living Program residents live in two furnished apartments, seperated by gender. Each apartment can house a maximum of four residents, for a total of eight participants. Each apartment features three bedrooms, 1 and ½ baths, kitchen, living room, and dining area. They also include full-sized washers and dryers. Units provide easy access to a community rec hall, swimming pool, and neighboring park. The program site location is within walking distance to a number of shopping centers which contain restaurants, banks, grocery stores, as well as medical facilities, and possibilities for employment.
