On Saturday, February 14, 2009, the United Methodist Home for Children held its First Annual Kenneth R. Arthur “HAVE A HEART FOR KIDS” gala at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill. Ms. Valerie Pritchett, of ABC27 News, served as the event hostess. The event was sponsored by Capital BlueCross and Commerce Bank. Honorees included former Senator Harold F. & Mrs. Phyllis S. Mowery (Lifetime Achievement Awards) and 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist, Ms. Hyleas Fountain (Outstanding Role Model for Kids).
